REPORT: Asaad to Nasrallah: You are responsible for the "assassination" of Hashem Salman

Head of the Option Party (Al Intimaa Al Lubnani) Ahmad Asaad commemorated on Sunday the one week anniversary of the death of Hashem Salman, holding Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah responsible for the "assassination" of Salman since the killer is a Hezbollah member.

In this context, Asaad pointed out that "one among Hezbollah members who were dressed in black shirts killed Salman before the Iranian embassy," calling on everyone who knows the killer to contact his party.

Asaad also held the Lebanese state along with the security institutions responsible for the killing of Salman, noting that the statement issued by the Army Command over the incident showed that "the army became related to Hezbollah and works upon the order of the group".

In this regard, Asaad called for another protest to be staged next Sunday outside the Iranian embassy in protest of the killing of "martyr Hashem Salman".

One week ago, men wielding batons and wearing yellow arm bands evoking Lebanon's Hezbollah attacked protesters outside the Iranian Embassy in Beirut during a rally against the group's participation in the Syrian civil war.

Witnesses saw men wearing yellow armbands the color of Hezbollah's flag attacking the protesters with batons.
