Car accident in Wata al-Joz leaves 2 women dead

A Mercedes truck driven by a Syrian national collided on Tuesday with a Mercedes vehicle leaving two people identified as Jane and Samira Chbat instantly killed at the Wata al- Joz road in the Keserwan region.

The bodies of the two women were transferred to the Saint Georges Hospital in Ajaltoun, while the truck driver fled the scene of the accident.

No further information was provided.
