Caretaker Minister Mansour files complaint against Israel

Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs Adnan Mansour requested on Friday from Lebanon's Envoy to the United Nations Nawwaf Salam, to file a complaint against Israel for kidnapping on July 2, 2013, two Lebanese in the Kfarshouba region.

"The abduction operation comes as a chain in the series of Israeli assaults against Lebanon's sovereignty and UN Security Council Resolution 1701," said Mansour.

The state-run National News Agency reported on Tuesday, July 2, that Israeli occupation troops abducted shepherds Youssef Hussein Rahil and Youssef Mohammad Zahra from the vicinity of Shebaa farms, south Lebanon, and took them into the occupied region.

The kidnapping incident took place in front of the Indian contingent operating within the United Nations Interim Forces In Lebanon (UNIFIL) and located in the heights of Jabal Sheikh.
