Former MP Kandil to LBCI: Israel to wage war against Syria and Hezbollah in 2014

Former MP Nasser Kandil asserted on Monday that Lebanon is on the brink of an explosion, adding that the security situation in the region worsens tensions in the country.

Kandil's stance came during an interview with LBCI's Nharkom Said TV show in which he said that the security chaos in Lebanon will not stop before the end of the agenda set for the region in 2010.

On Syria, he noted that country is safe due to efforts exerted by President Bachar al-Assad, adding that Israel expressed its discontent over the failure of the Syrian opposition in toppling the regime.

He announced that Israel will wage a war in 2014 against Syria and Hezbollah in order to force the International Community to adopt a final decision in terms of the entire region.
