Mufti of Sidon Sheikh Sousan appointed as head of Sidon's Awqaf department

Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati approved on Tuesday the decision taken by the administrative council of the Awqaf [General Authority of Islamic Affairs & Endowments] in Sidon stating the renewal of the contract of Mufti Sheikh Salim Sousan as head of the Awqaf department in the city for one year as of 20-06-2013.

Caretaker PM Mikati issued decision NO. 1378 stipulating the approval of the decision, and referred it to the administrative council of Sidon city's Awqaf.

The administrative council has unanimously appointed Mufti Sousan to serve as head of the Awqaf department in Sidon for one year due to the need to fill the position, and due to his expertise in this regard.
