MP Aoun calls on citizens to unite their efforts for the benefit of Lebanon

Change and Reform Bloc leader MP Michel Aoun said on Monday that proof and evidence related to constitutional violations are available, and called on Lebanese citizens not to be misled by those who are verbally defending their values and principles.

Aoun asked citizens to join their efforts and unite their work in order to face attempts of dismantling the state, reiterating his support to the formation of a country whereby laws and justice dominate.

As for the constitutional violations, MP Aoun provided the following examples:

-Refraining from appointing a General Director for the Internal Security Forces

-Extending the mandate of the Lebanese Armed Forces’ Intelligence commander

-Disrupting administrative appointments; more than 179 positions at ministries and institutions are witnessing vacuum

-Absence of public accounting; treasury grants and loans were transferred to private accounts

-Undermining confidence in the judicial authorities
