Journalist Amal Khalil’s body recovered after airstrike in southern Lebanon

The Lebanese Civil Defense announced that its search and rescue teams have recovered the body of journalist Amal Khalil, who was killed following an Israeli airstrike that targeted a house in the village of At Tiri in southern Lebanon.

In a statement, the Civil Defense said the recovery operation was carried out in coordination with the Lebanese army and the Red Cross. It added that the necessary procedures were completed in accordance with established protocols.
