Syrian nationals kidnap Lebanese citizen in Arsal, demand ransom for his release
 
The state-run news agency NNA reported on Friday that a number of nationals from Syria’s Yabrud kidnapped Lebanese citizen Abbas Qassas from the border town of Arsal, northeastern Lebanon.          

Qassas, who hails from the Lebanese Bekaa town of Younin, was taken by his kidnapers to Yabrud.               

Following the abduction incident, the kidnappers contacted the family of Abbas Qassas demanding a 120 thousand US Dollars ransom for his release.         

No further details were provided.
