Kidnapped man released in the town of Chtaura

A security source reported on Thursday that a businessman kidnapped last week in the town of Taanayel was released on Wednesday-Thursday overnight.

The kidnapped man identified as Fathallah al-Hayyali, (51) was released Wednesday at night in the town of Chtaura in exchange of $350,000 ransom.

Hayyali owns a hotel in Jounieh, and was kidnapped Friday night near Hamra Plaza in Taanayel.

His car was found on the Riyaaq-Deir Znoun road.
