Security sub-committee in Akkar discusses means to protect places of worship

The security sub-committee in Akkar held an extraordinary meeting on Wednesday with talks featuring high on security developments in Lebanon, the state-run National News reported.

The heads of the security services who attended the meeting have agreed to implement a series of security measures in public places including banks, markets and places of worship.

They have also agreed to coordinate their efforts and hold several meetings in order to monitor the situation closely.
