Hezbollah SG Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah: Assassination of IAF official Saadeddine Ghiye is dangerous

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah condemned in a speech on Tuesday the assassination of Islamic Action Front official Saadeddine Ghiye in the northern city of Tripoli and demanded that the case be dealt with the same way as the twin blasts.

"The assassination is an attack against the Resistance and its supporters. This shows that the Takfiris are targeting those who do not agree with them" he said.

Nasrallah also showed concern over political parties who decided to overlook this dangerous incident describing it as a dangerous turn of events in Tripoli that could expand to other Lebanese regions.

Two unidentified assailants, riding a motorcycle in the region of al-Bahsa in the northern city of Tripoli, opened fire Tuesday at the Islamic Action Front (IAF) official Saadeddine Ghiye who was inside his vehicle, leaving him with a gunshot wound to the head.
