Kataeb party's VP Azzi to LBCI: The Lebanese should take precautionary measures

Vice president of the Kataeb party Sejaan Azzi said on Thursday that the double suicide attack that targeted south Beirut’s Bir el-Hassan region comes in light of the Middle East conflict in which international, regional and Lebanese parties are involved.

"Terrorism has become widespread and the states are fighting each other by terrorist organizations," he said.

In an interview with LBCI's Nharkom Said TV Show, MP Azzi said that global media deems the Iranian embassy attack as a result of Hezbollah's involvement in the Syrian war.

He also noted that "Lebanon has entered a new phase with Islamic extremist terrorism being transferred to its territories," calling on the Lebanese to take precautionary measures throughout this critical phase.
