Attempt to smuggle Captagon foiled at Beirut Airport

The Inspection Unit at Beirut International Airport foiled an attempt to smuggle Captagon pills to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

A member of the Inspection Unit suspected a number of carton boxes that were to be sent through express mail and seized more than half a million pill embedded in a creative way in rubber spare parts inside the boxes.

Investigations are ongoing in order to uncover the owners of this important amount of drugs and bring them to justice.
