Stabbed citizen's body found in Lebanon’s Broummana

The blood-stained body of citizen Mikhael Semaan Hadshiti was found on Monday in the Lebanese town of Broummana- Matn District, the state-run National News Agency reported.

The body of Hadchiti (1954) who hails from Deir al-Ahmar, was found inside a Nissan cab.

The forensic doctor examined the body and revealed that the victim’s death occurred 12 hours earlier, after he was stabbed 19 times in the face, chest, shoulder and hands.

A sum of one million and four hundred thousand LBP was found in Hadshiti’s pockets while his identity card was left beside him.

Investigations are underway to reveal the circumstances of the crime.
