Jumblatt from Turkey: Protecting Lebanon’s stability crucial matter

The leader of the Progressive Socialist Party MP Walid Jumblatt praised the Turkish stances supporting Lebanon’s stability during this critical stage, stressing the importance of protecting this stability in light of the growing challenges on the local and regional levels.

During his meeting with the Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmed Davutoglu in Turkey, Jumblatt discussed the latest developments concerning the Syrian crisis, the deteriorating humanitarian situation and means to alleviate the suffering of the Syrian people.

The discussions also tackled the Geneva 2 peace conference scheduled to be held later this month and means to improve the Lebanese-Turkish cooperation.
