Baydoun to LBCI: Zarif to visit Lebanon holding new diplomatic policy

Former minister Mohammad Abdel Hamid Baydoun said Thursday that there has been a shift in the Iranian position, noting that the Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Jawad Zarif will visit Lebanon with a new diplomatic policy aiming at building new relations with neighboring countries.

In a statement to LBCI’s Nharkom Said, Baydoun called on March 14 forces to be prepared to meet with Zarif and hand him a memo that interprets the bilateral relations between the two countries.

In this context, Baydoun stressed that the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani had criticized the policy adopted by the former president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
