Mikati chairs National Council for Fighting Drugs meeting

Prime Minister Najib Mikati chaired on Monday a meeting for the National Council for Fighting Drugs.

The meeting was partaken by Public Health Minister Ali Hassan Khalil, Information Minister Walid Daouk, Justice Minister Shakib Qortbawi, Finance Minister Mohammad Safadi, and others.

Khalil said that they presented during the meeting the guidelines to launch a workshop against drug addiction and an executive plan in this regard.

Separately, Mikati headed a meeting, attended by several ministers, to discuss means of compensations of damages caused by the 2006 July War.

Amongst Mikati's visitors were Sports and Youth Minister Faysal Karami as well as the Belgian and South Korean Ambassadors.
