LF leader Geagea says solution in Tripoli lies in removing illegitimate weapons

"The country cannot not be left without a cabinet that should be homogeneous," Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea said on Saturday, adding that such characteristics could only be guaranteed, at the time being, by a neutral government.

Separately, Geagea said the solution in the northern city of Tripoli lies in the removal of illegitimate weapons, noting that the eastern and northern borders could only be controlled by a political decision which stipulates the deployment of Lebanese Armed Forces.

“I have a strong belief that as long as Hezbollah will not change its policy, we will not be able to improve the country but to the contrary, things will only get worse,” Geagea told his guests in Maarab.
