President Sleiman reiterates Lebanon's support to STL

President Michel Sleiman held a meeting on Wednesday at the Baabda Palace with Head of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) Defense Office, François Roux, who briefed him on the STL procedures, the state-run National News Agency reported.

Roux thanked Sleiman for his support in adopting both the French and Arabic language at the STL sessions.

In turn, Sleiman reiterated his country's support to the work of the tribunal, highlighting the importance of adopting the three languages: Arabic, French and English.

The President had also met with caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati with talks featuring high on the current political and governmental developments.

Also among Sleiman's visitors, Prime Minister-Designate Tammam Salam who tackled the issue of the cabinet formation.
