Change and Reform bloc MP Kanaan to LBCI: We are a key component in the country’s political life

Change and Reform bloc MP Ibrahim Kanaan stressed on Friday that his bloc will not accept the formation of an all-embracing government, which lacks fair Christian representation.

In a phone call with LBCI's Nharkom Said TV Show, he slammed the cabinet formation process in light of failing to agree with Christian representatives of the country’s political sphere.

MP Kanaan also stressed that the agreement should include all parties, and said: “Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun has warned against undermining the notion of coexistence”.

He added that national partnership should not be compromised in the cabinet formation process, and said: “We are a key component in the country’s political life and we have a say in this regard”.
