Ferzli: Decision-making process should not be monopolized

Former Deputy Speaker Elie Ferzli said on Friday the decision-making process should not be monopolized, asking whether the rotation of governmental portfolios serves the cabinet formation process or vice verse.

Following a meeting with Change and Reform Bloc Leader MP Michel Aoun, Ferzli said Bkerke's National Charter should be adopted starting from pluralism in the Lebanese society and passing through an actual equality when it comes to ratifying laws, adding that a certain religious community should not impose its deputies on another.

In response to one of the questions, Ferzli said real partnership will lead to the formation of a cabinet, adding that a national decision should not exclude a certain political party.
