Explosions heard from other side of Lebanese border towns
A Syrian rocket landed on Tuesday morning near the Hermel town of Sahlat al-May, located on the Lebanese-Syrian border.

This comes as explosions were reportedly heard from the other side of the Lebanese border towns of Arsal, Al-Qaa and Hermel due to mortar shells and raids carried out by Syrian warplanes inside the Syrian territories.

Shelling from the Syrian side has damaged several Lebanese border towns which have bore the brunt of the cross-border attacks.

This comes as a result of the fighting taking place in Syria between Syrian government troops and rebels seeking to overthrow President Bashar al-Assad.
