Kataeb MP Saade to LBCI: Hezbollah undermined constitution, national unity

Kataeb bloc MP Samer Saade said the debate between President Michel Sleiman and Hezbollah shows that the group does not respect Lebanon’s legitimate institutions, noting that Hezbollah has undermined national unity as well as the constitution.

In an interview with LBCI’s Nharkom Said TV show on Monday, MP Saade said Hezbollah’s regional projects overran the Lebanese internal interests.

He also noted that the common values tackled by President Sleiman create unity among the Lebanese, adding that the whole country pays the price of decisions taken by the Resistance.

“The reference of the Resistance should be the Lebanese state, not uncontrolled weapons,” MP Saade said.
