US Embassy in Beirut calls on Lebanese parties to respect disassociation policy

The US Embassy in Beirut condemned Monday the recent violence in Lebanon, including the renewed clashes in Tripoli and Sunday’s bombing in Nabi Othman, extended condolences to the victims and their families.

The embassy renewed the call for Lebanon to be insulated from the violence in neighboring Syria, urging all the parties to respect the disassociation policy and abstain from acts that endanger Lebanon’s stability and security.
