Security forces confiscate stolen cars in Sami Atrash’s garages

A unit from the Lebanese Armed Forces airborne regiment along with members from the Internal Security Forces raided on Saturday the residence and garages of Sami Al-Atrash in Arsal's region of Wadi Hmeid.

During the raid, security forces confiscated around twenty stolen cars and car parts.

Fugitive Sami al-Atrash was killed on Thursday the 27th of March in a shootout as the Lebanese army in the Lebanese border town of Arsal.

Al-Atrash was accused of involvement in car bomb attacks that targeted several Lebanese regions.
