Three UNIFIL soldiers injured in a car accident in Tyre

The state-run national News Agency reported on Saturday that three soldiers from the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) were injured after their vehicle overturned in the southern city of Tyre.

The agency added that the three peacekeepers are from the Malaysian contingent and were injured in Tyre's town of Maarakeh.

They were all transferred to the Malaysian contingent's field hospital in the area to receive the necessary medical treatment.

No further information was provided in this regard.
