Executive council for Lebanese Teachers Syndicate calls for general strike

The executive council for the Lebanese Teachers Syndicate called on Thursday for a general strike to be held in all private schools on Tuesday the 29th of April to protest the “policy of procrastination” in the endorsement of the pay scale.

Following a meeting chaired by the head of the Private Schools Teachers Association, Nehme Mahfoud, the Syndicate called for a demonstration to be held in the same day from the Central Bank towards the Parliament.
