10 Syrian nationals arrested attempting to smuggle into Lebanon

The state-run National News Agency reported on Thursday that the Lebanese army arrested in Arsal ten Syrian nationals who were attempting to smuggle into Lebanon with fake identification papers.

The arrest comes amid a security plan that the army is implementing in the region since more than two weeks.

The agency added that the Syrian nationals were arrested on the Wadi Hmayyed checkpoint in the Arsal region.

The detainees are being interrogated by the concerned authorities.
