Prime Minister Tammam Salam stressed his keenness on electing a new president, noting that he does not want his cabinet to rule over presidential vacuum.
During the cabinet session held at the Grand Serail, PM Salam tackled Wednesday’s Parliament session, describing it as a democratic process, as well as the security plans underway in the Bekaa and the North.
In this regard, the cabinet decided to refer cases pertaining to terrorist explosions and booby-trapped cars to the judicial council.
