Lebanon’s Health Minister tells LBCI: 89 killed, hundreds injured in Israeli strikes

Lebanon’s Health Minister told LBCI that the country is facing a serious escalation, with casualties rising as Israeli strikes continue across Lebanon.

The minister said emergency services, in coordination with Lebanese Red Cross teams and hospitals, have responded effectively despite the difficult circumstances. “Hospitals across the country have largely met the urgent needs, and no major operational problems have been reported,” he added.

He confirmed that, so far, 89 people have been killed, including 12 medical personnel, and 722 others have been injured in various areas across Lebanon.
