Ethiopian maid stabs herself after failing to stab employer's daughter

An Ethiopian maid, who works for the Hashem family in the town of Burj al-Shmali in Tyre, stabbed herself after failing to stab the daughter of her employer.

Residents of the said town stated that the maid attempted to stab the daughter of her employer; however, the latter managed to escape.

Consequently, the maid stabbed herself for fear of the reaction of her employer.

The maid was immediately transported to the Lebanese-Italian Hospital.
