Minister Derbass to LBCI: Lebanon’s security is linked to dossier of refugees

Social Affairs Minister Rashid Derbass stated on Sunday that Lebanese authorities have all the necessary details pertaining to Syrian refugees in Lebanon.

Derbass told LBCI’s Nharkom Said that various discussions were held in order to set a mechanism to control the influx of refugees into Lebanon, stressing that authorities will receive Syrian citizens coming from insecure places.

He also noted that Lebanon’s security situation is linked to the dossier of refugees in the country, pointing out that the number of randomly erected Syrian refugee camps has reached 1, 250 camps.
