Pakradouni to LBCI: Syria should end Muslim Brotherhood’s movements
Former Minister Karim Pakradouni said that the events in Syria are still far from being resolved, adding that a political compromise will solve the turmoil.

Pakradouni, in an interview to Nharkom Said on LBCI TV, mentioned that a national unity government is needed in Syria to include the opposition in the decision making process and expected that during the Baath general meeting in February or March, Syria will shift from a one-party system to a multiparty one.

“Syria should implement a military strategy to end Muslim the brotherhood appraisal and other armed groups”, Pakradouni was quoted as saying. “The Arab monitors’ credibility will face a test on Sunday as they will issue their first report to the Arab League and we all hope that they will show some objectivity and report the events the way they are happening”.

Asked about the latest statements of the Minister of Defense Fayez Ghosn on al-Qaeda infiltration in Lebanon he said “Ghosn does not care about small political equations, his claims were based on concrete evidences and information”.

Pakradouni called on the Lebanese Armed Forces to be deployed on the Lebanese-Syrian border in Ersal to prevent any infiltration from both sides.
