In this regard, the secretariat mentioned that the solution for Lebanon’s current situation should commence by controlling the Lebanese-Syrian borders and deploying Lebanese Armed Forces along them.
Following their weekly meeting, March 14 forces highlighted the necessity of electing a new president, stressing that Lebanese citizens are suffering from Hezbollah’s participation in Syria’s civil war and from the responses of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant fighters to the latter’s engagement in the war.
In this regard, the forces stated that some local, regional, and international factions are disregarding the demands of the people in Lebanon, Syria and Iraq, stressing that these people are calling for the establishment of a rightful and just state.
