MP Jumbatt calls on the Druze community of Jabal Sheikh to remain vigilant of attempts at fomenting strife
Progressive Socialist Party leader MP Walid Jumblat urged on Tuesday the Druze people of Jabal Sheikh to remain vigilant to any attempts at fomenting strife initiated by the Syrian regime that "wishes to wage a war against you by making use of the Syrian people of different sects."

MP Jumblatt also hailed the Druze community for "rejecting support for the Syrian regime which is attacking the Syrian people and the revolution."

Syria's civil war, now in its fourth year, has killed more than 150,000 people. The United Nations says 10.8 million people need help, while three million others have fled.
