Decision issued to widen investigation in the Roula Yaacoub murder case
The judicial accusatory body in North Lebanon issued a decision on Friday to widen the scale of the investigations conducted in the case of Roula Yaacoub’s murder, calling on the witnesses to attend a hearing session to be held on Monday 29th of September, 2014.

On July 7th 2013, 33-year-old Lebanese woman Roula Yaacoub was beaten to death by her husband, well-informed sources reported.

Neighbors said they heard Roula - the mother of five daughters - screaming and they tried interfering to stop a fight that erupted between the couple, but the husband refused.

Later on, the man rushed out to seek help after Roula went unconscious.

Roula was rushed to the hospital where she died shortly after.
