Abducted Lebanese citizen, Nicolas al-Murr, freed in Baalbek
Lebanese citizen Nicolas al-Murr, who was kidnapped by unknown assailants in the town of Talia, was released in the region of al-Khraybeh, east of Baalbek, the state-run National News Agency reported.

Al-Murr was freed after the security apparatuses were mobilized and did not pay a ransom in exchange of his release.

The 50-year-old citizen was kidnapped earlier on Thursday by two unidentified gunmen in a black Cherokee.

The gunmen claimed that they belong to a security apparatus, the agency added.
