VIDEO: PM Salam's guards attack reporters at Dar al-Fatwa

Prime Minister Tammam Salam's guards attacked on Sunday reporters and cameramen covering the polls in Dar al-Fatwa.

A verbal rhetoric between reporters and security forces inside the meeting hall of Dar al-Fatwa escalated into a physical clash, the state-run National News Agency said.

Some reporters were wounded during the fight, the agency added.

Accordingly, Interior Minister Nouhad Mashnouk said he will form an investigative committee to look into the incident.
