Former Minister Sayegh to LBCI: Militias must adhere to the state's institutions

Former Minister Salim Sayegh said on Sunday that history will not remain silent on Hezbollah's military involvement in Syria, adding that the sole solution for the current crisis is the holding of the presidential and parliamentary elections.

Sayegh's comments were made during an interview with Nharkom Said TV show during which he called on all "militias to adhere by the state's institutions and to embrace the L:Lebanese army."

He also called on the Lebanese lawmakers and ministers to implement the defense strategy which was agreed upon during the mandate of President Michel Sleiman.
