Speaker Berri says intra-Islamic conflict poses threat to Arab World

Speaker Nabih Berri said Friday that he has been calling for the elimination of political sectarianism in Lebanon, “but with the latest incidents and dangerous developments witnessed by the region, there is an urge to eliminate the political sectarianism from all the countries of the Arab world,” he said.

During his meeting with the union of Arab dentists, Berri warned against the danger of the intra-Islamic conflict, which threats the entire region.

On another note, Berri sent a letter to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, congratulating him on successful surgery.
