Contacts lost with Arsal resident Abdul Karim Ahmad Hmeid

Contacts were lost late on Saturday with Arsal resident Abdul Karim Ahmad Hmeid in the town of Wadi Hmeid, the state-run National News Agency reported on Sunday.

"Hmeid is believed to be kidnapped by takfiri groups and taken to Arsal's barren range," the agency added.

No further details were provided.
