Sheikh Rafei voices readiness to resume negotiations over Arsal captives
Sheikh Salem al-Rafei, the head of the Muslim Scholars Association, said the initiative that had recently been launched by the committee aims to resume negotiations over the file of kidnapped Lebanese soldiers.

“We are ready to revive our role in the negotiation process, provided that we are formally tasked to do so and that the government is serious in its intention to broker a swap deal,” Rafei said, in an interview with LBCI’s Nharkom Said TV Show on Monday.

“The names of prisoners are negotiable but what matters the most is that the government have the intention to release some of them,” Rafei added.
