Sources told LBCI on Thursday that Kfardebian’s “Powder” nightclub was sealed with red wax by Judge of Mount Lebanon Peter Germanos for a three-month period after his owner failed to impose security. On Wednesday, sources also told LBCI that Judge Germanos issued an indictment in the killing of young Lebanese man Yves Nawfal stipulating the death penalty for Charbel Georges Khalil, Charbel Charbel Khalil, Juliano Saadeh, and Christian, Elie and Mario Khalil in accordance with article 549 of the penal code. The state-run National News Agency had reported that Yves and “his friend, Saba Nader, were having a night out in one of Faraya's Oyoun al-Siman restaurants where a dispute between him and two other men occurred over a girl who was in the same restaurant.” According to NNA, “the dispute ended quickly and Nawfal left the place.” But the two other men followed Nawfal and his friend to a “Total” gas station on Oyoun al-Siman’s road, firing at them from a pistol and a Kalashnikov assault rifle, the agency said.
