Economy and Trade Minister Alain Hakim declared Monday that his ministry will “strike with an iron fist” in controlling the prices and preventing monopoly and fraud, noting that it will refer the offenders to the concerned judiciary, especially when the violations involve the fuel of fuel products.
In a press conference held at his office, Hakim said the Finance Ministry stands by the consumer, pointing out that the surveillance campaign will continue in a bid to impose all laws that protect Lebanese consumers.
