Employees close Sidon Public Hospital to protest unpaid salaries

Medical staff and administration employees closed on Thursday Sidon’s governmental hospital to protest against unpaid salaries.

The protesters blocked the entrance of Sidon Public Hospital to prevent patients from entering, urging government intervention.

They also urged Health Minister Wael Abou Faour for immediate action to save the hospital from total collapse.

Today’s action was the second this week. On Monday, employees suspended their work to protest unpaid salaries.
