Foreign Affairs Minister Gebran Bassil called for passing the law pertaining to restoring the Lebanese nationality to expats living abroad.
“No one can deprive us of our Lebanese identity, because it runs through our veins,” he added.
During the “Lebanese Diaspora Energy 2015” conference, Bassil addressed Lebanese expatriates, saying that the approval of the draft law must come in line with the introduction of e-registration for identities and e-voting procedures.
