Lebanese army receives shipment of TOW II missiles within US assistance program

The Lebanese Army Forces received on Monday a shipment of TOW II anti-tank missiles with rocket-launchers, at Beirut International Airport, in the presence of senior army officers and officials from the US Embassy's Office of Defense Cooperation in Lebanon.

In this regard, the army command issued a statement whereby it said that this shipment comes within the framework of the US aid program for the Lebanese army and in accordance with the bilateral commitments and agreements signed between the two nations.
