[PHOTO] Maimed body of 35-year-old woman found in Ras al-Maten

The maimed body of 35-year-old Zena Kahil was found in al-Mestah region, located in the lower tip of Ras al-Maten, the state-run National News Agency reported Friday.

According to a report issued by coroner Nehmat al-Mokdad who examined the body, Zena died after falling from a high altitude and hitting a solid object.

Zena’s vehicle was parked in the same area where she was found, the agency noted, saying Forensic Evidence teams took fingerprints from the car and inspected nearby surveillance cameras to unveil the circumstances of her death.

Kahil's body was transferred to Al-Jabal hospital pending further investigations, NNA concluded.
