Iran Guards say struck Marshall Islands-flagged ship in Gulf

Iran's Revolutionary Guards said Thursday they had struck a Marshall Islands-flagged ship, which they claimed was U.S.-owned, in the northern part of the Gulf.

On their website Sepah News, the Guards said the ship Safesea was "one of the assets of the U.S. terrorist army" and that it "was hit in the northern Gulf after ignoring and not complying with warnings and alerts".
