Minister of Health Abou Faour suspends 9 medical inspectors

Health Minister Wael Abou Faour suspended on Friday nine medical inspectors over complaints that they were taking bribes.

A Health Ministry statement said all nine were transferred to the prosecutor's office, which will carry out the investigation.

Minister Abou Faour said that such measure aims at addressing the corruption in the state’s institutions.
